How to Apply for Grants

Three Steps for Your Application

STEP 1: Review guidelines and FAQ’s

  • Review Community Foundation of Mississauga grants eligibility guidelines and deadlines for submission of proposals. All information is provided in the form of frequently asked questions.

  • Please be advised that the 2023 Grant Round is now CLOSED.

STEP 2: Create an account, or log in to your account


  • Visit our online grants portal.

  • If this is your first time applying for a Community Foundation of Mississauga grant, click the Create New Account button and enter an email address and password to be used for all your submissions. Community Foundation of Mississauga will send all information related to your application to this email address.

  • If you already have an account from previous applications, enter your credentials and click the Log On button.

STEP 3: Complete our online grant application.

  • Once you are logged in, click the Apply link at the top of our portal to view all applications. Scroll down to find your grant opportunity (to see a summary of our grants, you can also visit  Available Grants ).

  • Click the Preview button if you would like to view the application questions. Please do not fill out an application while in preview mode as your responses will not be saved.

  • Click the Apply button to begin your application once the grant round opens.

  • Submit your application by the deadline. Decisions are typically made within 4-8 weeks.
